🌧️➡️🌈 Rain + sunshine = rainbow. Learning + support = Titans!💪❤️🌈
A rainbow over Central Intermediate School today reminds us that sometimes the hardest days bring the most beautiful rewards. We’re learning that growth happens when we do hard things, whether it's in academics, socially, or just getting out of bed to make to to school on time. Keep pushing through those clouds, Titans! A rainbow lies ahead!

🎉 Celebrating Student Success! 🎉
One of our amazing students in Mrs. Bresnahan's class just earned a trip to the park after receiving 10 A’s on assignments and completing a punch card! 🏆📚🌳
This reward reflects consistent effort, focus, and a great attitude toward learning. We love seeing students set goals and work hard to reach them! 👏💪
Keep up the great work — your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed!

🌍💚 World Mental Health Day – October 10 💚🌍
At Central Intermediate School, we believe that mental health matters just as much as physical health — for our students, staff, and families.
Today, we remind our school community that:
✔️ It's okay to talk about your feelings
✔️ It's okay to ask for help
✔️ It's okay to take a break
Let’s support one another with kindness, empathy, and understanding — not just today, but every day. Together, we can help create a world where mental health is prioritized and stigma is replaced with support. 💬🧠💙

🗓️ This Month’s Trait: RESPONSIBILITY! 🧠💪
Time to step up and show what it means to be responsible — from turning in homework on time 📚 to owning our actions and helping others when we can! All month, we’ll be looking for students who demonstrate this. 👀✨ Here, Mrs. Jacob's class of 5th graders are practicing responsibility by transferring Legos from one end of the line to another; they discussed the importance of working carefully and safely rather than rushing.

🫡 Showing Some Major R-E-S-P-E-C-T! 🫡
Each month, we're shining a spotlight on a different character trait and celebrating the students who truly embody it. 💫 In September, we learned all about respect — treating others right, listening up, and spreading good vibes everywhere! 💬✨ We proudly recognized and celebrated the respectful rockstars in our school with a Clap Out and Donut treat! 🎉 #RespectTheRespectful #CharacterChampions #TitanPride

Missing "one day" or "one morning/afternoon" of school may not seem like a big deal for your student if they aren't sick, but look at why it may be a bigger deal than they think. Those times away from school add up in so many other ways! "Chronic absenteeism" is a phrase we don't typically hear in conversations, but it has such an impact on our students and our schools that we should take a moment to look at what it is! Check out this infographic!

We not only care about our students, but also about YOU, caregivers & staff! Students can get overwhelmulated (overwhelmed & overstimulated), but so can YOU! Be sure to take care of yourself so you can be the best for your student(s) too. We know it's hard when you have a lot to juggle, but here are a few simple ways you could care for yourself over the next few weeks. Challenge yourself to pick one or two to do for YOU - care for yourself doesn't have to be expensive or take long but it sure can help you reset if you prioritize it once in a while.
