What an incredible night of music and collaboration! Our 5th and 6th grade band students had the amazing opportunity to perform individually as well as alongside our talented junior high and high school musicians at the All-District Band Concert.
From the first note to the final applause, it was inspiring to see students of all ages come together to share their hard work, growth, and love of music. 🎺🥁🎷We are so proud of our young musicians for their dedication and confidence—and grateful for the chance to be part of such a special district-wide event! 👏

Last week in Mrs. Dilley's 4th grade classroom, teamwork was in full swing! 💪✨ Students took on two exciting cooperation challenges: cup stacking and balloon tower building. From careful planning to lots of laughter, they worked together to communicate, problem-solve, and support one another every step of the way.

A boil order is in effect for the south east quadrant of Monmouth that affects Lincoln, Harding and Central. Bottled water will be provided for students and staff tomorrow, Tuesday, April 7th. Drinking fountains are closed until the boil order is lifted. Our cafeteria will follow all health department protocols, using bottled or boiled water for food preparation. If possible, please send your child with a full water bottle from home. We will keep you updated as we learn more information!

Our 5th grade students brought both brains and fun to their IAR practice! 🎯📚 They answered questions of their choice, then celebrated their hard work by shooting paper basketballs into a hoop or kicking paper soccer balls into a net. Learning + movement = a winning combo! 🏀⚽

In the first activity, students took on a cooperative drawing challenge—standing back-to-back with a partner while one described an image and the other drew it. This activity really put their communication, listening, and teamwork skills to the test (and showed how important details are!). 🎨🗣️
Next, the class earned a reward and chose to celebrate by making slime—always a favorite! 🧪
We also had our exciting attendance glow party! Students enjoyed glowing games like “Binglow” and had a blast with colorful lights lighting up the room. 🌟
