🍎 One of the favorite days of the year in Mrs. Johnston's class! ✏️
Students took over the classroom for a “Teach the Teacher” day and planned mini lessons to teach the class something new. They taught about everything from axolotls to juggling with a soccer ball to creative paper crafts. It was so impressive: the preparation, creativity, and confidence they showed while teaching. Some students created slideshows, some brought in materials from home, and others used supplies at school. It was such a fun way to see their interests and leadership shine — definitely doing this again next year! 🌟

😄 Our “Tattoo a Teacher” attendance incentive assembly was definitely one to remember! Students with perfect attendance during the month of May earned the chance to pick a temporary tattoo and the teacher who had to wear it.🎉
So if you happen to spot a teacher sporting a face tattoo today (or this week)… maybe don’t question their judgment too much 😂 They were just being great sports while celebrating our students’ awesome attendance! 👏💛 #AttendanceMatters #SchoolFun #TattooATeacher #MakingMemories

Mrs. Johnston’s 4th Grade class has been busy making memories and celebrating accomplishments! 📚✨
One of the biggest highlights recently was becoming published authors! Each student wrote about their favorite animal, and together they created a class book. This week, they finally received their printed copies, and the excitement was unforgettable as students flipped through the pages to see their writing and artwork in a real book! 🐾📖
They’ve also enjoyed some wonderful adventures outside the classroom, including a fun-filled park trip and a special visit to the library to learn all about the summer reading program and upcoming activities. ☀️🌳📚
What an amazing season of learning, creativity, and fun for our 4th graders! ❤️

A huge thank you to Recharge Teen Center for welcoming our 6th grade classes and giving them a tour and introduction to all the amazing resources available to them once they become “any age with teen at the end.” 😊
Our students learned about everything Recharge offers — from homework help, hair & makeup assistance, snacks, clothes for special occasions or interviews, pantry staples and cooking skills, to trying new foods, gaming (board or virtual) with friends, music lessons, finance lessons, and so much more. Their heart is truly to support and encourage teens in every area of life.
We are so blessed to have a place like this in our community and grateful for the opportunity to connect our students with such an incredible resource. Thank you for investing in our (pre)teens and helping them feel seen, supported, and valued! 💙
