Ms. Young's class thoroughly enjoyed a "Snack Salad" & Movie for earning $500 worth of '$10 certificates' which they earn from good behavior at their specials (art, music, PE). Their next goal is $1000! Way to go, 6th graders!

Missing "one day" or "one morning/afternoon" of school may not seem like a big deal for your student if they aren't sick, but look at why it may be a bigger deal than they think. Those times away from school add up in so many other ways! "Chronic absenteeism" is a phrase we don't typically hear in conversations, but it has such an impact on our students and our schools that we should take a moment to look at what it is! Check out this infographic!

We not only care about our students, but also about YOU, caregivers & staff! Students can get overwhelmulated (overwhelmed & overstimulated), but so can YOU! Be sure to take care of yourself so you can be the best for your student(s) too. We know it's hard when you have a lot to juggle, but here are a few simple ways you could care for yourself over the next few weeks. Challenge yourself to pick one or two to do for YOU - care for yourself doesn't have to be expensive or take long but it sure can help you reset if you prioritize it once in a while.

Our 5th grade students had the opportunity to attend the Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau Progressive Agriculture Safety Day last week. Our students learned about safety when it came to: fire, chemicals, animals, ATVs, online safety, seatbelts, electrical lines, and railroad crossings.

A huge thank you to all the bus drivers, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers!

The Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau Ag-in-the-Classroom Committee along with the Prime Beef Festival board made it possible for our 4th grade students to have a fun field trip last week to learn all about different aspects of agriculture. We are so grateful for the role that agriculture plays in our lives and community. These learning stations are a unique way to let our students experience it. Thank you!
