This is the Monmouth-Roseville School District with a message for our parents:

Due to anticipated dangerous temperatures and wind chills, Monday, January 26th is an E-Learning Day for all students. Students in grades 9 to 12 should log into their device to find the activities for the day.  Students in grades Kindergarten to 8 should work on the packet of activities that was sent home from the teacher.

A little glimpse of inside recess in Mrs. Johnston's 4th grade classroom! 😊 With temperatures too cold to go outside 🥶, students enjoyed games, conversations, and time to recharge while building friendships.

Our 5th graders in Miss Collins' class have been busy measuring matter in science this week! ⚖️📏 Students practiced using tools, collecting data, and exploring physical properties through hands-on investigations.

We’re grateful to our School Resource Officer, Officer Myers, for speaking with our 5th graders about online safety. 💙 Students learned valuable tips on responsible internet use, protecting personal information, and making safe choices online. 💻🔒

Service in action! 🙌 Our 6th Grade Student Advisory Team (SAT) delivered donations from our food drive and animal shelter drive last Friday.

Lights, camera, questions! 🎬🎤 Our 5th graders in Mrs. Jacob's room loved interviewing each other and learning fun facts about their classmates. This activity helped build speaking skills, listening skills, and classroom community!

📚 Students in Mrs. Milroy’s 6th Grade ELA classes have been making silent reading a priority—and they got to break the silence! They shared what they’ve been reading with a classmate and discovered new stories, genres, and interests along the way. ✨

🍨❄️ WE DID THAT. ❄️🍨 Our students crushed our December school-wide attendance goal, and as promised…our Assistant Principal, Mr. Pilger, became a human ice cream sundae!! Ice cream? ✔️ Strawberry syrup? ✔️ Chocolate syrup? ✔️ Marshmallows? ✔️ Sprinkles? ✔️ Cherries? ✔️ A very good sport? MOST DEFINITELY ✔️ Way to show up, show out, and earn the sweetest reward! After a week of festive fun, friendly competition, and plenty of surprises, we’re excited to celebrate our final “You’ve Been Elf’d” winners of the week—complete with their well-earned prizes! 🎁👏 Thanks to all our staff for playing along and bringing so much holiday cheer (and feistiness!). What a fun way to wrap up the week! ✨

🍩💙 This morning we celebrated those who embody Empathy with a character trait clap-out and a donut celebration! Our students were recognized for understanding and connecting with other people's feelings—what a sweet way to honor such an important trait. 🌟

Mrs. Jacob's 5th grade class talent show was amazing! Students showcased a wide variety of talents including singing, soccer, basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, baton, magic, art, instruments, and even advertising! We are so proud of their creativity, confidence, and courage.
