Our 5th grade students had the opportunity to attend the Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau Progressive Agriculture Safety Day last week. Our students learned about safety when it came to: fire, chemicals, animals, ATVs, online safety, seatbelts, electrical lines, and railroad crossings.

A huge thank you to all the bus drivers, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers!

Learning isn't always sitting at a desk all day with paper and a pencil (ok, or a Chromebook) listening to a teacher. Look at some of the fun and creative ways our 4th and 5th grade students have been learning while engaging with each other!

It's no secret that we had several power outages in the first few weeks of school, but that didn't stop our students from shining in the classroom!

The Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau Ag-in-the-Classroom Committee along with the Prime Beef Festival board made it possible for our 4th grade students to have a fun field trip last week to learn all about different aspects of agriculture. We are so grateful for the role that agriculture plays in our lives and community. These learning stations are a unique way to let our students experience it. Thank you!

A favorite highlight (for both students & staff) was our first school assembly - where students were introduced to our staff members...and some of their crazy antics. *giggle*
Ask your student about the roller coaster they rode. *wink wink*

We kicked off the school year with such a bang...that we haven't gotten around to posting about all we've been up to until now! So stay tuned as we slowly get you caught up...
We started in August by reviewing expectations for behavior and volume control in each section of our building and some key times throughout the day.
